Social program on Monday and Tuesday
Monday – July 6th – Dinner
The training school’s dinner on Monday, July 6th, will take place at the restaurant “Cervejaria da Trindade”. Dinner is scheduled for 19:30.
The restaurant can be reached as follows:
- Take the subway to Baixa-Chiado (blue/green lines) – see the subway diagram below.
If you are coming from ISCTE-IUL or its vicinity, the closest subway stations are located along the yellow line. Switching from the yellow line into the blue line can be done at Marquês de Pombal.
- When you reach Baixa-Chiado subway station, exit to Largo do Chiado (the subway station’s exit with the longer set of escalators)
- Locate the street Rua Nova da Trindade. Once you exit the subway station, it should be to your right – see the map below.
- Follow straight ahead along Rua Nova da Trindade (about 200 meters) until you find the “Cervejaria da Trindade” restaurant on the right side of the street.

Tuesday – July 7th – Dinner
The training school’s dinner on Tuesday, July 7th, will take place aboard the ship Opera, while sightseeing Lisbon from the Tagus River.
Buses will depart from ISCTE at 18:15 and will take the participants to the ship. Boarding the ship will be done at 19:00 and the ship will leave the docks at 19:30.
The cruise will take us along the river between the easternmost part of Lisbon (Parque das Nações) and the westernmost parts of Lisbon (Belém). It will be a unique opportunity for sightseeing since most of Lisbon’s historical sites and interesting locations are located near the shores of the Tagus River.
The ship is scheduled to be back at 23:00. A bus will be waiting to take the participants back to the hotels area in the vicinity of ISCTE.
Note: if you are not able to get into the bus at ISCTE-IUL make sure you reach the ship’s location before 19:30. Keep in mind that is not simple to get into the ship’s location using the public transportation system. The best option is to take a taxi and instruct the driver with following instructions:
Cais da Rocha Conde de Óbidos, Doca de Alcantâra
