The 3D-ConTourNet meeting in Heraklion, Crete, will take place at TEIC premises, from 14/05/2014 (Plenary Meeting) to 15/05/2014 (MC Meeting).

Reaching TEI of Crete
The 3D-ConTourNet meeting in Heraklion, Crete, will take place at TEIC premises, 5km west of the Heraklion downtown, and 10km from the Heraklion international airport “Nikos Kazantzakis”.
Frequent bus services are scheduled every 15 minutes from/to Heraklion downtown, with a bus-stop just at the front-entrance of TEIC. Please use a bus with the sign “TEI”, and ask the drop you at TEIC entrance. The bus-fair depends on the distance that you travel, and in any case does not exceed 1.20€ per destination (one-way trip). You can get these from Ticket machines, or form Kiosks with personal assistance employees, just beside most bus-stops.

Reaching the Heraklion City Centre
Arriving by Airplane
Using a Car: The only road that travels from the airport to Heraklion centre is “Ikarou” street. Follow this road all the way to the city centre. After approximately 4 km, you will be going uphill with the Venetian Wall and grassed areas to your right.
Using a Taxi: There are always taxis available at the airport – the cost should not exceed 20 € to any place within Heraklion Down-Town.
Using a Bus: Outside the airport, there is a Bus Stop from where you can get any bus going to the City centre. You should get off at “Eleftherias” square, which is the central square in Heraklion.
Arriving by Ship
Using a Taxi: Taxi fare should not exceed 10 € from Heraklion Port to any place within Heraklion Down-Town.
