The report should contain two parts. The first part should summarize all topics addressed at the school (one paragraph per topic). The second part should describe one of the topics in more details. The total length of the report should not exceed four pages.<\/p>\n<h4>Poster Session<\/h4>\n<p>In addition to lectures given by the invited speakers, students will have the opportunity to present their research works in a poster session. Presenting a poster is required for obtaining credits from the school. The posters can be scientific and technical with concrete results but also works-in-progress and ideas are welcome. The topic of the posters should belong to the scope of the training school. <a href=\"http:\/\/3d-contournet.eu\/interaction2014\/2014\/06\/24\/best-poster-award\/\">The Best Poster will be rewarded<\/a>!<\/p>\n<h4>Matlab Exercises<\/h4>\n<p>The third part of Lecture 3: Speeding up MATLAB applications will include a practical demonstration of the techniques introduced during the lecture. Students who wish to try follow this part on their own laptops should make sure the following requirements are met:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Matlab version R2014a or later installed (this is the minimum version that can run all examples)<\/li>\n<li>Parallel Computing Toolbox<\/li>\n<li>A multicore CPU is recommended to make sure parallel examples indeed run faster<\/li>\n<li>Image Processing Toolbox<\/li>\n<li>Computer Vision System Toolbox<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For those students who do not have this version\u00a0 of Matlab installed, Gamax Laboratory Solutions provides free trial versions for the duration of the Summer School.
